Founded in 2001, it makes booking a class or service simple, empowering both consumers and providers to focus on well-being.

My Time as a Researcher

  • Honed my quantitative and qualitative research skills
  • Developed a deep understanding of the product and customers, both B2B and B2C
  • Led essential and impactful research to revamp the user experience across the product ecosystem

NMB Purchase Experience Project (October 2021 - March 2023)

Stage: Discovery , Exploratory, Validation

Project Scope: Improve Mindbody’s point of sale system with a deep understanding of user needs and journeys to identify areas for innovation. Develop and validate solutions to create a more intuitive and valuable POS experience for B2B and B2C users .

  • Understand customer pain points, expectations, and current experiences using Mindbody's point of sale system

  • Identify and define top user personas in the purchase experience

  • Identify areas of opportunity for improvement and innovation

  • Categorize product features by importance

  • Ethnographic qualitative interviews (n = 3)

  • 2-hour empathy workshop

  • 2-hour design workshop

  • Usability testing with service providers and owners (3 rounds, n = 6–8)

  • Updated UX/UI

  • Increased system functionality

  • Strengthened product value proposition
